Technology companies that have designed used by children will need to wholly redesign their programs after the UK laid down new privacy standards. The Information Commissioner’s Office’s new code of conduct covers everybody from social media platforms to the makers of internet-connected toys. The “Age Appropriate Design Code” has 15 standard rules of design that these firms might want to meet to be able to defend children.
