The Galaxy S20 series will be appearing earlier than its predecessors did the last year. A leaked video shared on Twitter has announced the date the event will take place.
The fifteen-second video was shared on Twitter by Max Winebach, a writer for XDA Developers, and it exposes the Samsung Unpacked event is set to hold on February 11. That is nine days earlier than the Galaxy S10 series’ unpacked event that was on February 20, 2019.
With the launch taking place earlier, it also needs to indicate that the brand new flagships will go on sale earlier too. The Galaxy S10 series went on sale on March 8, 2019, so we anticipate the Galaxy S20 series to go on sale on February 28.
Though there is no mention of the location, venue and time, one other popular leaker who goes by @MMDDJ_ tweeted that the launch will hold in New York. However, the venue and time remain private.
Samsung will announce not less than four phones on the event. It is expected the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra for the S series whereas the Galaxy Fold 2 with its vertically folding display will follow suit.
