Amazon to Bring Its Fire TV Edition to Cars and Soundbars

Amazon plans to bring its Fire TV platform to in-car entertainment systems. At present, Amazon introduced that Fire TV Edition for Auto will seem in future BMW and Fiat Chrysler automobiles. It would include entry to Alexa, a touch screen interface, and offline playback capabilities. Content will be out there using the vehicle’s WiFi or LTE connection, a mobile hotspot, or a WAN-enabled device.

The transfer to in-car leisure comes simply three years after Amazon launched its first Fire TV Edition smart TVs at CES 2017. At present, Fireplace TV has greater than 40 million active users, and Amazon says it would quickly be even more straightforward for system makers to combine Fire TV into their merchandise.
